You found this place for a reason.
Maybe you are a writer who suspects AI could change your creative process but you do not know where to start. Maybe you are a professional who knows AI is reshaping everything but feels like you are missing something — something that goes beyond tools and templates. Maybe you are just curious about what happens when storytelling and technology collide.
Whoever you are. Welcome.
Who I Am
My name is Shane Weickum. I live at the intersection of two worlds that most people think have nothing to do with each other.
The first world is story. I am a fantasy writer — not the kind who builds escape routes, but the kind who builds mirrors. Every world I create carries something underneath the surface. Something that asks a quiet question of the reader without ever stating it out loud. I write fantasy because I believe story reaches places that instruction never can. It does not tell you what to think. It builds a world you step into — and somewhere inside that world, something shifts.
The second world is AI. I am an AI Strategist — and I have spent real time learning what this technology can and cannot do. Where it elevates human thinking. Where it replaces it without anyone noticing. I have learned how to use AI not as a shortcut, but as a collaborator. Not as a replacement for voice, but as an amplifier of it.
Most people keep these two worlds separate. I do not.
What I Believe
I believe every person carries creative potential they have not yet unlocked.
Not just writers. Not just artists. Everyone. The person who has a book inside them they have never written. The entrepreneur whose brand exists but has no real identity yet. The professional who is sharp and capable but whose work has never quite felt like theirs.
AI, used well, can help change that. Not by generating content for you. By helping you find your voice, test your ideas, build faster, think deeper, and bring more of yourself into everything you make.
But here is what nobody mentions.
The tool can only work with what you bring to it. The clearer you are about who you are and what you are trying to say — the more powerful it becomes.
That is not a technology problem. That is a human one. And it is worth paying attention to.
What You Will Find Here
This blog runs on two tracks — and it does not apologise for that.
You will find practical AI strategy. Real skills. Real frameworks. The things that actually work, and the things that sound impressive but do not. If you want to use AI better — in your business, your creative work, your thinking — this is a place that will give you tools you can use tomorrow.
You will also find story. The worlds I am building. The craft behind the writing. The ideas underneath the fiction — about what blocks people, what frees them, and what it costs to keep ignoring the gap between who you are and what you are actually capable of.
And sometimes — the best times — you will find both at once.
The Invitation
I am not here to tell you what to think or how to work.
I am here to share what I have found — in the worlds I build, in the AI tools I have spent real time learning, and in the space between the two where something keeps revealing itself.
If something here lands — a post, an idea, a story — take it. Use it. Let it do what it needs to do.
That is why this place exists.
Welcome.
