Something New Is Coming — AI for Authors

I have been sitting on this idea for a while.
Not because I was not ready to share it. Because I wanted to make sure it was worth your time before I put it in front of you.
I think it is. So here we go.
What I Have Been Building
Over the past few years I have developed a way of working that I did not set out to create — it just emerged from doing the thing repeatedly and paying attention to what worked.
I write fantasy. Specifically, the kind of fantasy where the world comes before everything else. Before the hero. Before the plot. Before the first sentence. I build history, geography, power structures, mythology, creatures, language — and then I let the characters emerge from that world like they were always supposed to be there.
At the same time, I have been deep in AI. Not as a gimmick. Not as a shortcut. As a genuine creative collaborator — something I use to go further into the work than I could alone.
What I found, after long enough doing both, is that AI and world-building were made for each other.
Not in the way people assume — not AI generating your world for you while you watch. The other way. You bring the vision, the instinct, the creative decisions. AI helps you stress-test the logic, fill the gaps you did not know existed, build the documents that keep your world consistent, and explore the corners of your creation that you have not had time to reach yet.
That process changed how I write. And I want to share it.
Introducing AI for Authors
AI for Authors is a course series I am building for writers who want to go deeper into their craft — and who are curious about what AI can actually do when it is used as a collaborator rather than a replacement.
Each course in the series focuses on one element of the writing process. Not surface level. Deep. The kind of depth that changes how you think about the work.
The first course — World First: Building the Foundation — launches free. It covers the approach I use to build worlds before characters, before plot, before anything. Five lessons. Practical exercises. And at every step, a real look at how I use AI inside that process.
This is my method. Not the only method — there are writers who work in completely different ways and build extraordinary things. What I am sharing is what works for me, in the hope that some of it works for you too.
Take what resonates. Leave what does not. That is all I ask.
What Comes After
The free course is just the beginning. The series goes into myth and lore, creature design, character development, language and naming, and story architecture — each one building on the last, each one going deeper into both the craft and the AI workflow behind it.
More details on each course will come as we get closer to launch.
Who This Is For
Writers who are already building worlds and want to go further. Writers who are just starting and want a framework to build inside. Writers who have heard a lot about AI and are not sure what it actually offers them yet.
And the person who has always wanted to write — who has had a story living somewhere in the back of their mind for years — but never knew where to begin. This is a starting point. A way in.
If any of that is you — stay close. This is being built for you.
More soon.
